A day at the fair

Tis the time of year to participate in the annual Fall fair. We purposely missed it last year because it can be rather expensive and it tends to be about the same about every year. Crowds, expensive food and even more expensive rides. By the time your done walking miles in the hot sun, you're physically and finacially worn out. But, the kids are now old enough to know that it's fair time and heaven forbid everybody in their class goes and not them, so off we went. Besides, when all is said and done, seeing them really enjoy a ride is priceless. We saw all the farm animals of course, they drove race cars(wow their good drivers!)and they went on various different rides. They had a blast, with not to much complaining!
At the end of the day we were hot, sunburned and exhausted, but hey, it's only once a year!

Hi Becky, thanks for giving me a good link. I looked down thru all your pictures. The kids get bigger everyday. And I agree with Jill, you look so cute in those blue scubs. Don't you just love the Connell Dahlia display at the Fair? They are just out on about 104th & Waller Road you know. I should go over there & take some pictures too. I love your blog and have bookmarked it so I can visit again. Love Aunt Linda

Hi Becky
Came across your blog tonight. I did read in your other posts how your new to this and would love comments? I guess I feel the same...you just wait for someone to notice right? Well hello from Canada.
I used to live in Van. B.C. and would that be the Lynden Fair? We would attend it every year..the kids loved it and the live animal section was beyond words. There is nothing like a good old fashion fair. I miss it.
Hope school isn't too hard on you. Yes it's hard being a parent. We raised 2 boys and 1 girl all teens now & Brittany close to 20 wow!! I wish I could wave that magic wand to bring them back to the younger years. In a blink they will be grown up...everyone told me so, but I used to think oh sure!!! when they would wake me at 6am...anyway enough rambling it's late here, nearly 1am and I must let the dogs out.
Keep up the great job.
